B2B Commerce
B2B Commerce
B2B buyers expect the same seamless digital experiences as in B2C - but with the added complexity of multiple accounts, custom pricing, multiple projects with different delivery addresses, separate carts, and payment requirements. Our goal is to make these processes simple and efficient for both customers and sales teams. Focus areas in H1 2026 include:
Invoice Management
A portal where customers can view, select, and pay multiple invoices at once - reducing manual invoice handling and finance follow-ups. Extends the self-service portal with enhanced functionality and explores integration with Business Central for seamless invoice management.
Customer & Sales Center
Self-service access for customers to orders, invoices, account data, quotes, and multiple projects, combined with sales tools to support every step - from draft to quote to finalized order - including aftersales needs like product information and documentation.
PIM
Strengthening PIM for the future
Good product data is the foundation of everything - from customer experience to compliance to operational efficiency. In H1 2026, we are addressing two of the most common pain points: the ability to capture complex, structured product information natively in PIM, and making it simpler for any user to build and work with product queries - without needing deep technical knowledge. The goal is to give everyday users more autonomy, reduce errors, and make product data work better across the business.
Matrix Field Type
The Matrix Field Type introduces a native, table-like field in PIM that allows editors to store structured row-and-column data directly on a product. This makes it possible to model complex product specifications in a way that is: Structured, validated, easy to maintain and ready for downstream use.
Simplified Product Query Creation
A guided query builder simplifies the process of creating product queries, focusing on relevant fields for specific use cases. This enables faster, more confident query creation and reduces reliance on consultants or super users.
AI & Integration
Improve processes and tasks by utilizing AI
AI is reshaping how businesses manage data and configure complex systems - and we are building DynamicWeb to take full advantage of that. In H1 2026, our focus is on creating the right foundation: exposing DynamicWeb data in a structured, AI-ready format so that AI agents can assist with the tasks that slow teams down today, from complex setup and configuration to data validation and onboarding. At the same time, we are making it easier than ever to bring large, complex datasets into DynamicWeb safely and accurately. Together, these investments lay the groundwork for broader AI-driven automation across PIM and Commerce in the future.
AI Agent Foundation
We are developing a Service API and MCP layer to expose DynamicWeb data in an AI-ready format, allowing AI agents to securely interact with and assist in solution management — including complex setup and configuration tasks. This lays the groundwork for future AI-driven workflows across PIM and Commerce.
We are exploring how a Service API, combined with an MCP layer* that exposes core DynamicWeb data in a secure, AI-ready format, can enable AI agents to interact with and assist in building and maintaining solutions.
*MCP layer (Model Context Protocol layer) is an architectural layer that standardizes how AI models securely access external tools, data, and services by mediating context, permissions, and structured tool execution.
Data Onboarding
Introduces onboarding and staging layers for safe data loading, validation, transformation, and approval before production use. This reduces errors from direct imports and custom SQL, ensuring data accuracy before publishing.
